2nd project for Koala-t crafts

Here is my card I made for Koala -t crafts as a guest design team member for the month of September. The challenge was to use one of their Frightful Fall digital Images, and/or the colors Purple & Orange and Leaves. So what I did was, I used various brands of alcohol markers along with Wink of Stella glitter pens in clear and black to color in this fella. I also used my favorite white Gellyroll pen to create the look of twinkling stars! So, this image is actually upside down... lol  I wanted this little guy to be hanging as bats do! So I printed it onto card stock and flipped him around, super simple!

Guest Design Team Projects for Koala - T Crafts

First, let me just say I have been making cards for years now actually..
( I remember being a newbie like it was just yesterday! )
In all of these years I would like to think my cards have gotten substantially
better as all things usually do with practice.

Over these said years I have tried out for design team spots after hearing over and over and over that I should be on one.  To no avail did I ever make the cut, until now. I am proud to say I am a guest design team member for Koala-t crafts! The owner of this online shop Jen Evers, amazes me!  amazing Products, amazing You-Tube videos, amazing customer service, amazing digital images ,, OK you get it right? amazing!

How I made my cards and supplies used

On to my projects- my challenge was to create 2 paper projects for the month of September, I could use the colors orange, purple, or use pretty leaves on my project.  by September 1st - I was already done! I was so excited to get to craft with their products and they are all fall products too! score!!!! I can only share 1 with you now.. I know, I know, the wait!.. torture! lol .. But be patient ! All good things come in good time my crafty friends!

This past Christmas I was given alcohol markers as a gift from my Mom! I was over the moon! since then I have practiced on and off.  I switch up my color mediums to not bore myself. lol For this card I used my fancy new markers! I printed out their digital images using the "other photo paper" selection on my printer so that the marker or pencils ( which ever you choose ) won't smear the printer ink.* tip* you can also resize them to suit your project needs as I did!

Then I colored away! I used various paper cutting dies, glitter brush pens, and sequins. Then  Viola! My cards were done and stunning! ( not to toot my own horn ) lol ... Jen's images are just so cute! I can't wait to see what she comes up with for Christmas. She makes it so easy and fun to create cards!

With lot's of new dies being released from different companies, I couldn't wait to get my hands on some! So while waiting I did what I do best and improvise! I made this DIY shadow box card myself!  No dies, just cutting random sizes seeing what worked for me lol.. ( I hate measuring ) Here is the result of a rainy afternoon experimenting :-) I used Paper Smooches stamps and Lawn fawn stamps! They are just the cutest!!
