Valentine's Day Tag

I made this little tag today for my son's mini Valentine's Day treat bag. I used black card stock, Tim Holtz distress paint in Picket Fence, Heidi Swapp speech bubbles stamp and die, Hero Arts neon ink pads in purple and red, a mini Studio G star punch, Tag punch, and red bakers twine.. I'll post a photo of everything shortly :)

Here are some of the supplies I used to create my card.. I also used :

Twine, Studio Calico wood veneer stars, Dear Lizzy paper,  Inkadinkado royal blue ink spray, Diamond Stickles, Quickie Glue pen, Recollections tape runner, and dimensional foam adhesive, Atyou Spica glitter pens and Glossy Accents.

Here is my completed card..it's amazing what you can come up with when the house is in a slumber and you can hear your own thoughts. . Until next time..

American Crafts product review

So I bought this cute stitching set from Target for $4.99..I was excited to say the least. I opened the package today and without really examining it, I went straight at it and tried to thread the needle.  Sad to say they do not provide the correct needle, the eye of the needle is so tiny for the embroidery thread they offer. Now I  have two choices I can use my boring old thread or go to Michaels and purchase an embroidery needle.  This was a bummer for sure.

So I want to make a YouTube video on my opinion of different brands of ink pads for stamping.  I have learned quite a bit about stamping since I started crafting in  2010 and I'd like to share..I'm no expert,  not a licensed stamper or whatever you have to be these days.. just my honest opinion and demonstration of my findings..stay tuned.. :)
